If April showers bring May flowers, what is this wind doing for us?

Seriously!  It's really hard to walk into 35 mph wind!  I was  thinking that the calibration of my Nike+ would be terribly inaccurate, given the struggle that I experienced every time I was facing west, not to mention the time that I spent walking with the wind hitting me from the side... Walking east (for the short time that it seemed like I did that) was a breeze, though.  Yes, another bad pun.

My walk was cut a little short by a young couple that needed a jump.  At first I thought I was going to be accosted by Jehovahs Witnesses, even though they were dressed a little casually, but they just wanted to know if I lived in the neighborhood and might be able to get my vehicle to give them a jump. I was planning to walk for 30  minutes, but when I got back home to get my HABNERO I was at 26.29.  That's okay... I'm headed out to play Whirlyball in about an hour, so I'll make up a little exercise then, albeit not walking.

Today's running companions:  AC/DC, Adam Ant, Autograph and Bif Naked.  Hmm... think I forgot to hit the shuffle on the iPod?

Other than the wind, and the fun of helping someone get their car started, today's walk was completely uneventful.  I'm off to get ready for Whirlyball!  Next episode of Running with Michelle coming at you next week!

Today's Run Weather:
44 degrees, Humidity 55%, Wind 31-38 mph., Overcast
Wind chill = 34 degrees
